Tirumala : About Seven Hills (Edu Kondalu)

The Tirumala Hill is 3,200 feet (980 m) above sea level and is about 10.33 square miles (27 km2) in area. It comprises seven peaks, representing the seven heads of Adisesha, thus earning the name Seshachalam.

The seven hills of Lord Venkateswara has Pouranic importance. Some of the important quotes:
  • Tirumala hills are the play ground of Lord Maha Vishnu
  • Anjana Devi has gave birth to Lord Hanuman

  • Vrushabadri
  • Anjanadri
  • Neeladri
  • Garudadri
  • Seshadri
  • Naraynadri
